Goodnight Hugs, Good Night-Hugs

This comic was inspired by the words of @asiansformentalhealth and snippets of a podcast episode with @jonnysun that I heard while driving one evening. This was also drawn to process the heightened coverage of violence against the Asian community and our elders. This comic honors the Asian elders who helped pave the path for me to be where I am today.

As with many of my illustrations, this piece also contains a hidden secret word whose letters are scattered throughout the multiple panels of this comic. Can you find the letters and the word they spell out?
